Poco Filter FAQ - Undocumented filter options

Q:I've noticed references to some undocumented filter options. Does anyone have a comprehensive list of them?

A: Well, not a comprehensive list, but here are the ones I'm aware of:

The following options are undocumented in Poco 2.6 and 3.0.

%file%:"filename" Searches a text file for the item being filtered.
%junksubjects% Matches against your "JunkSubjects.txt" file. This is the file that contains all the subjects you have explicitly banned via either the Junk Mail Filtering window or the right click "Junk Mail Filtering | Ban Subject" context menu item of the mailbox index pane.
%mailboxes% I'm not sure how this option can be used for filtering. If anyone has used this or can think of specific examples please let me know and I'll add them to this document.

The following options were undocumented in Poco 2.6. In Poco 3, they exist as drop-down options. See this article for more information.

%addressbooks%Matches against addresses in any of your address books.
%exceptreceivers%Matches against addresses in your "exceptreceivers.txt" file. This is the junk mail file that is associated with the "Allowed Receivers" button.
%exceptsenders%Matches against addressses in your "exceptsenders.txt" file. This is the junk mail file that is associated with the "Allowed Senders" button (also the "Junk Mail Filtering | Allow Sender" or the "Junk Mail Filtering | Allow Domain" context menu items of the mailbox index pane).
%junksenders%Matches against anyone in your "JunkSenders.txt" file. This is the file that contains all email addresses and domains that you have explicitly banned. (Right click the message in the index select "Junk Mail Filtering | Ban Sender" or "Ban Sender's Domain").

If anyone knows of other undocumented filter options please let me know and I'll update this list.
