Plugging PocoMail

Postby Grim_Deeds » Wed Feb 02, 2005 8:05 am

Scot Finnie writes intelligently about a lot of different computing issues. In his latest newsletter Scot was sharing his somewhat negative impression of Thunderbird when he then made a pitch for using PocoMail.

"Frankly, all, you can do better than this. There's a product called PocoMail that might be worth a look if you haven't tried it. It has much of the power of Eudora with a cleaner interface more like Outlook Express. My only qualm about PocoMail has been that the product is updated sporadically, and reliability hasn't always been excellent."

Here's a link to his web site where you can read the newsletter. Look for the mention of PocoMail in the section titled "Thunderbird Is No Firefox".

Yes, Scott's newsletter is what brought me to Pocomail.
Doing the evaluation edition now.
The program has a lot of good features.
Trying to figure how I can work with filters, but overall a nice program.
