Registration Code for Barca Pro 2.1 Upgrade

Postby Clive Basson » Tue Jun 06, 2006 10:48 am

I don't know what else to try. I have only 2 days left on the Barca Pro 2.1 upgrade temporary registration, is there anything I can do? Like other users I have requested 4 times the new registration code for the free Barca Pro 2.1 upgrade. Each request has been met with zero response. This is the most disgraceful product support I have ever encountered. If it was my team I would be ashamed.

Sorry to hear you didn't get any response. :?

I've just sent a PM to Slaven, so he'll get in touch with you ASAP.

Let me know how it goes.

Giving up in total disgust

Postby Clive Basson » Fri Jun 09, 2006 7:47 am

My copy of Barc Pro2 has now expired and I'm now using M/S Outlook for my email. It is unbelievable that a company would treat it's customers this way.

After 5 requests for my new registration code and posting a plea for help here, I received on 6/6/06:
From: PocoMail Support <support@pocosystems.com>
Hi,
We will send you code shortly.

Now 3 days later, of course no code was ever sent.

After supporting Poco for many years and buying all upgrades I have given up in total disgust. I'm now looking for a replacement.

I hope this does not happen to anyone else.

Pity you didn't receive your license code yet Clive. :?
Please understand that I can't do anything more here.
Now it's up to PSI.

Also sorry you'll be looking for another email client , although I've tried many before without finding the one, until I tried Poco.

Hope you'll find it.
Eric

I'm really curious as to what is going on with Poco Systems here lately. There seems to be one complaint after another regarding the lack of support. This certainly isn't very good advertising for Poco Mail or Barca.

It's pretty sad when the head of the company is the only one providing support. And that only happens after someone who has an inside track contacts him.
