"DELETION OF MULTIPLE MSGS" was closed as "can't fix" (it involves standard Windows keyboard buffer).

I can accept that (as I said, I didn't really consider it a "bug" anyway). I note that Outlook Express does the same thing.

For completeness sake here is another non-bug "issue" (altho I think in this case I could make a case for it being a bug -- albeit a minor one). In the past you have acknowledged the problem, but said you had no plans to resolve it.

Code: Select all
POSITION IN CONTACT MAILBOX LOST
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
There is a problem with how the vertical list of the alphabet to the right of the contact mailbox works.  It can be reproduced with these steps:

1. Use the vertical list of the alphabet to the right of the contact mailbox to bring into view a portion of an address book by selecting, let's say, M.

2. Click on any group defined in that contact mailbox using the navigation pane

3. Switch back to the address book that was being used before step 2 using the navigation pane

4. The contact mailbox is now re-positioned back to the top of the address book; however, note that the letter of the alphabet that had been pushed to position the address book (M) is still depressed even tho the contact mailbox is positioned in the A's.

The rational for calling this minor glitch a "bug" is that the alpha list shows M depressed but the contact mailbox is not positioned to M - this is certainly at least inconsistent.  However, rather than simply removing the depression of the M button, I, for one, would greatly prefer to have the position in the contact mailbox remain where I had positioned it before I switched away (and thereby making the continued depression of the M valid).
