I couldn't find anything on version 2005 :? , but found the following info.
What email clients can be used to scan messages as they are downloaded from the POP3 server?

If you use Microsoft Outlook Express 4.01 or above or Eudora Pro 4.0 or above as your email client, Trend PC-cillin 2000 will scan your email messages as they are downloaded from the POP3 server.

Virus-infected attachments are stopped before they ever reach your computer.

Changes in the Email Account Settings of PC-cillin 2000

When using certain email client programs, PC-cillin 2000 changes the POP or Post Office Protocol server settings to "localhost" and the username field or box to "username/pop server name".

This issue occurs because PC-cillin 2000's POP3 Scan functions like a proxy between the e-mail client and the POP3 server. In order to perform this function, PC-cillin 2000 needs to change the email clients' settings as follows:

POP3 server : "localhost"
Username : "original username/original POP3 server name"

If the original POP3 server is "mailserver.com", and the username is "username," the settings will be modified as follows:

POP3 server : localhost
Username : username/mailserver.com

If it works as a proxy, the above settings should work.

I hope it does.
Eric
