Received Date issue

Postby kevlar13 » Wed Aug 18, 2004 5:23 am

I have XP pro in spanish, date format "dd/MM/yyyy".
When I download/import mails, the ''Received' column shows only the time in hh:mm format.
Is there any way to solve this?
Thank you.

Hi kevlar13 & welcome to Poco Forum. :D

 Maybe it's due to the imported messages, because I encountered it before, but never with downloaded messages.

Here you can find a script for restoring the delivery date.

Follow these steps:
    1. Press F9 (Scripts)
    2. Choose Tab Edit Script and press New Script
    3. Copy & Paste this script into the blank area
    4. Save Script and name it 'Restore Delivery Date' or whatever
    5. Choose Tab Buttons (Button 1) and select this saved script from dropdown list, give it a name in Description and Close.
    6. Rightclick on the toolbar and choose Customize Toolbar
    7. Add User Action 1 to Current Toolbar Buttons and press OK.
    8. Now go to your mailbox with these incomplete messages and go to Mailbox and choose Compress Mailbox.
    9. Select your incomplete messages and press Button 1 on the toolbar to execute this script.

I hope this can solve your problem.

Just wondering if this applies to all your mails or just today's. If they are in the current day then only the time is displayed.

Thanks, David, that info rang a bell.

kevlar13: Press Shift+F7 and go to Reading Mail -> Index Options and uncheck Display Date and Time in Short Format
