Did try 2525 and username full or abridged too!

It's probably your ISP blocking outgoing SMTP on port 25 for any server but their own. As well, Inbox uses only port 25 for SMTP and have no plans at present to change this. I had an email conversation with their support department on this issue.
So you are stuck using one of your other accounts to reply to mail on Inbox as I am. So at this time I use Inbox only for archival storage of emails.

Phew!

Glad to know i'm not the only one in this cave.
Tried a Yahoo.ca setup. Took a while to find the right smtp port but it worked (465 in my case).

Still can't figure out why Barca's "use same username/password for Outgoing server" config won't stick. Scratch my head.

Outgoing Server = my.inbox.com
Use Authentication = yes, configure your username and password.
Authentication Type = Login

Note that a tag line advertisement will be added to the bottom of your outgoing messages and a copy of your sent messages will be stored in your 'Sent' folder on the Inbox.com server.

Gave it another shot today after recently reinstalling my PC and it's still a no go. It's odd that clicking the "use same name/password for outgoing server" doesn't stick for this account.
