Calender entries not saved (solved)

Calender entries not saved (solved)

For some reason the Calender entries are not being saved anymore. The entries disappear when closing and opening Barca Pro. Everything else works just fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Mark,

it seems like there is something wrong with the Calendar.dat file (or Recur.dat if it's recurring items).

Please select from menu Help > Email support > Email support, report will be generated, find a line starting with AppPath=. It contains path to your data.

Use Windows Explorer or any other file manager to navigate to the AppPath folder, there in Calendar subfolder are the above mentioned files.

Close Barca. Select Calendar.dat file and use Alt+Enter shortcut to access file properties. If the file has read-only attribute, disable it and click OK to save settings change, and start Barca.
If read-only was not ticked, try this: make backup (copy calendar.dat to a safe place) then copy calendar.dat to eg. Calendar.txt, delete calendar.dat, copy Calendar.txt back to Calendar.dat.

In case that nothing helped, please submit support request through menu Help > Email support > Email support.

Thanks Tomas, I followed your instructions when read-only is not ticked with success. Barca Pro now saves the Calendar entries.
