This is a strange problem, and I have notified the MerakMail (the company who develops the email server my company usses) to see if they have any answers for me.
Whenever I check my email via their web interface(from offsite) and read messages, the emails are still on the server. However, when I get back to the office and launch either Barca or Poco to check my email, the email that I read via their web interface is nowhere to be found in any of the folders I have. I Have Barca and Poco set to delete email from server when it's downloaded.
I then set the client to keep the email on the server to see if the read email is still lingering on the email server and after another test of closing the email client, waiting to accumulate a few emails, launching webmail, reading 1 email, closing webmail, launching Barca, the email I read via webmail is not there. I close barca launch webmail and the email I read is still there.
I guess after that long wacky explaination of what's going on, what is Barca/Poco reading from the server to determine if an email has already been downloaded and read?
