Reverse Date Order of Messages

Postby EzraT » Sun Aug 22, 2004 4:22 am

I view my messages sorted by date. The problem is that when I click on a different mailbox, the message shown is the oldest one, and I have to scroll (everytime) back to the top.

Is there a way to set up POCO Mail so that when I select a mailbox, it shows the most recent message?

Thanks

Hi EzraT & welcome to Poco Forum.

Go to Options (shift+F7) | Checking Mail | Receiving Options and check the box 'New messages to top of Index'.

I hope this helps.

Excellent! I recently purchased POCO mail and I am very happy with it. Thanks, Ezra

PS: POCO might want to consider most recent messages as the default.

I would call it more an addiction with your email client. Glad you're happy with it.
Read the Contents (F1), it gives you more information about what Poco can do more.
PS: POCO might want to consider most recent messages as the default.
Not everybody likes it that way, so by giving you this option you can configure it the way you like it best.

Good luck.

Another option that might be of interest is the "Set custom preview pane for this mailbox" (Found on the Properties | General tab -- context menu in the Mailbox pane. You can set the sort order of each mailbox, and it "sticks" even between Poco sessions.
