Timed Check does nothing

Postby mkolber » Mon Aug 23, 2004 9:08 am

I've had this issue since I started using Pocomail. It was no big deal earlier, but now that I'm on DSL rather than dial-up it would be nice if Pocomail checked automatically for my messages.

I have already set all the Accounts for "Timed Check" and told each one how many minutes to check for mail, so don't link me to the August 4 thread. But, except for automatically checking for new mail on start-up, Poco has never following the Timed Check instructions.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Have you also checked the "Check mail" box? Both boxes have to be checkmarked to get Poco to autocheck.

Also, you should make sure that "Online operation" is enabled.

Ah Ha!. Thanks. Couldn't find that mentioned anywhere in Help.
