the point is: whas jbuk's mail sent as UTF-8? If so, and you can answer it (using -88591) and still your copy in "Sent" is readable, i envy you.
FTR, 18 months later, i still struggle with this combo: incoming UTF-8, readable, replying using 8859-1, while writing the answer all fine, looking into "Sent" -> Garbage (and that's what my addressee sees!)
Meanwhile i'm at a point where my professional reputation suffers from this, so if there's no solution, or a reliable answer saying this will be getting fixed the next months, i'll have to jump ship.
