Hangs when downloading messages

Postby Murdoch » Mon Sep 13, 2004 1:19 am

When downloading messages from the server Pocomail seems to download one message then "hang". Stopping, then checking again for mail will download the next message, then it hangs again - and so on until there are no more messages on the server. This problem has just started- previously it was working fine - downloading until 100% , "no more messages", and disconnecting. Now it seems to stay logged on to server with no activity other than the little incoming mail icons moving.

Hi Murdoch

I would be inclined to look at this server with a web mail facility, e.g. http://mail2web.com and see if there is a troublesome e-mail "stuck" there, which is messing things up.
