Open attached csv-file and read from it

Postby fleming » Fri Jul 08, 2005 8:46 am

Hi,
here is what i try to do:
i receive emails with one attached csv-file.
I want to get the second cell of it, and use this information to put it into another mail.

Here is what i tried:

ReadAttached $AttachedFiles %message
GetLine $datei 0 $AttachedFiles
ReadCSV $csv $datei
GetLine $line 1 $csv
MessageBox $line

Messagebox should now pop information that is in the csv. But all i get is an empty box...

I think i have to open the file first, but how ?

could please anyone give me a hint ?

Thank you,

Fleming

The ReadCSV command Reads CSV formatted data in $b, and parses each record as a separate line in $a., it does not read from a file. To do this you will need to use the OpenBody command.
