Sending Page / Link from Internet Explorer

Postby househusband » Sat May 14, 2005 3:27 am

I am new to PocoMail and am using Windows 98. When attempting to send a link or page from Internet Explorer I get a Mapisp32 error. Is it possible to configure Pocomail so I can send links / pages from IE?

Hi househusband - welcome to the forums (I used to be one too).

To answer your question, I suspect not - I think that IE used the MAPI interface to try and talk to the e-mail program (like OE); however PocoMail does not use the MAPI interface for security reasons (i.e. you cannot program PM from another application like viruses like to).

The easiest is simply to copy the address in the Goto bar then paste it into a new message in PM.
