How to delete duplicate messages.??

Hello,
There are a number of duplicate messages in my mailbox. FOr some reason Pocomail PE seems to be downloading mail a number of times, at least initially.
I want to delete all the duplicate mails and keep the mailbox tidy.
Is there anyway to do that, any script or does compressing the mailbox does it.

Message > Tag Duplicates
From the dropdown menu above the Index view select 'Show Tagged'.
Afterwards press delete.

Of course be sure to verify if it's indeed a duplicate, prior to show tagged messages or pressing Delete.

For some reason Barca has started taking in duplicate messages here too! Another weird episode!!
