yet another problem with junk mail filtering

Postby mrQQ » Thu Oct 18, 2007 5:26 pm

hello,

i won't be your typical user complaining about spam filtering. for me, poco's bayesian work great.. well, they used to.

but now, i've had numerous instances, where spam email won't get moved to junk mail folder.. but if i go to junk mail setup, and press test on that, it says that yeah, this would be considered spam at all levels! so why won't it get moved..? (and in headers it says that it wasnt recognised as spam, score -3 :( :/)

Hello,

did you try to check the filter rules preceding the junk mail filtering rule?

Some chances are some email is filtered on rules preceding spam filtering rule, and thus will not make it to that rule and is not filtered as junk.
