AVG 8 configuation

Installing AVG 8. Do I need to complete 'virus Scanner' in the Network Settings under the Options tab? if so what command line parameters are required?

Thanks for info re: AVG email settings with Poco. Users of AVG might be interested to know that the AVG email notification pop up will only work if mail is collected off line. In on line mode there is no notification although mail is scanned.
