Where are Emails located in W7 x32

Postby ianw » Fri Dec 11, 2009 4:40 am

Does anyone know the location of the emails in W7 x32 Pro.

I cant find them, what I do is I have Macro Scheduler that I use to copy and save my emails in other partitions.
I've searched manually but to no avail.
I found them in XP, Vista and W7 x64, but not in W7 x32.

Thanks.
ianw

Are all folders visible :?:
In Vista the user folder is hidden by default, unless you check it in Explorer to show hidden files/folders too.
Maybe it's the same, but since I don't use Win 7 yet I'm not sure. :?

Hi Eric,
I use Directory Opus, it shows all folders.
Anyway, I "fixed" it by uninstalling PocoMail then re-installing and then using a custom location for the emails.

Thanks for your reply.

Nice tool, got that one too although I also use Xplorer2 Pro and XYPlorer. Difficult to chose one over the other.

Glad you fixed it that way. :)
Strange however why you can't find your mail at the default location in Win 7.
Thanks for your reply.
You're welcome Ian & do have a fine weekend.

have a look under

C:\Users\'Your login user name'\AppData\Roaming\Barca
C:\Users\'Your login user name'\AppData\Roaming\PocoMail

There may also be subdirectories under those

Run through menu Help > Email support > Email support.
Report is generated, find a line AppPath=, that's where data are, emails in particular are in the Mail folder under AppPath.
