Hi --
I'm using Pocomail 4.8 on a Win7 computer. I have several POP email accounts set up. My business email account, which goes through my business hosting service (BlueHost), can no longer send mail from within Pocomail. I can receive email through that account, but I cannot send. I can send email through the BlueHost webmail interface (i.e., I log in online, compose email, and send), but not from Pocomail.
This problem started after BlueHost changed their SSL certificate to deal with the HeartBleed bug. I am, so far, getting no useful help from the BlueHost techs. They keep telling me to do things I have already done (make sure outgoing server authentication is required, use a certain port, and so on -- all already done). My other accounts, which go through my ISP (Frontier) work fine, using the same security settings and outgoing port number.
Has anyone else encountered a similar problem and found a fix? I love Pocomail, have been using it for years, and do not want to switch to Thunderbird. Is there any reason that Pocomail wouldn't be able to read BlueHost's SSL certificate? (I don't see any option in Pocomail for accepting certificates.)
Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
