Scripts for filtering Attachments

Postby andreasfc » Tue Feb 15, 2005 8:01 pm

Is it possible to create a scripts which checks on attachment type and then put each attacment in its own directory.

For instance : filename.mpg --> c:\data\movies
filename.nzb --> c:\nzbfiles

Thanx

Yes, is possible provided attachments are decoded to the attach folder. This option is in the Encoding Options page of the Program Options form (it is the default option for Poco).

You would need to use the "ReadAttached" command to determine the attachment(s) present in the message. You would also have to create and invoke a BAT file to do the actual copy (PocoScript only works with text files, it cannot copy binary files like movies or pictures).
